United Way Denton County

Health Services of North Texas has been a United Way of Denton County Partner Agency for nearly a decade.

Being a Partner Agency means more than receiving United Way of Denton County grants. Being designated as a Partner Agency is a seal of trust granted to organizations like ours who satisfy the standards of stewardship set forth by the United Way Community Investment Committee and Board of Directors. As a Partner Agency, Health Services of North Texas shares the resources and networks of United Way of Denton County.

What is United Way of Denton County?

United Way is a locally-governed, autonomous, 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization that was founded in 1951. United Way of Denton County is a powerful movement of volunteers and donors in our community striving to make a difference. Across Denton County, a diverse range of passionate and compassionate people LIVE UNITED to serve those in need across Denton County.

The mission is to improve lives in Denton County.

The vision is to create and sustain relationships that identify and leverage community resources that help children, families, veterans, people experiencing homelessness, and people affected by mental illness – making Denton County the best place to live and work.

Each year, Health Services of North Texas conducts a special activity to raise money for United Way of Denton County.
