Counseling
HSNT's licensed professional counseling team provides individual and group therapy to clients of HSNT who are struggling with the emotional impact of HIV/AIDS. Counseling also offers opportunities to address issues that may be hindering clients from optimal disease management.
Receiving news about a positive HIV status can be devastating to a person and their loved ones. Coming to terms with it can take a great deal of time. Counseling is just one tool our clients can use to move forward and take charge of their lives.
The counseling team also administers a range of mental health assessments and can provide referrals for special needs that exceed the scope of counseling services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment.
